I was picking up rent in the ghetto today and I saw a van decorated with the name of the day care place it belongs to. The company is called "Most Precious Possessions."
Really? It is now acceptable to refer to your children as possessions? Not only that, my most precious possession I own, I'm not sure what it is, but anyway I would not allow it to be picked up in a van and taken away from me for most of the day.

The Moaner Strikes Again
Greetings. I decided to try and get into a little better shape than I'm in. When I do this it involves going swimming every other day for a while then varying my workouts. All of this I do at Bally's downtown.
If you are not familiar, it is tiny and smelly. The men's showers are a haven for aggressive perverts, and the pool area is chock full or old creepy guys reading the paper along with the aggressive perverts. I'm not even exaggerating here, it has been confirmed by multiple non-agrressive, non-pervert gay guys who know what they are talking about.
In any case, I went swimming on Tuesday, and to warm up and stretch, I sat in the hot tub for a while. After a few moments, a 40ish average build and height white guy sits down next to me. I ignored him as I am used to doing while in the perv-infested areas. I couldn't ignore him when he started moaning. It was a full blown cross between taking a crap, having sex, and pure exhaustion. "ahhhhhhhhhhhuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............." He said. After two long drawn out moans I exited the hot tub and swam my laps.
I enjoy the steam room after a swim, and apparently so does the moaner. I went in the steam room, had about 4 minutes of privacy and the moaner walks in. Luckily he laid down on the other side of the room, but about 30 seconds after laying down again he said "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..............." I was out of there before he began his next moan.
So I left feeling a little bit grossed out and obviously entertained by the sheer creepiness.
This morning I returned to the scene of the crime. I had the hot tub to myself somehow, the pool had only me and an old russian lady in it, and finally I entered an empty steam room. It was exceptionally steamy today from the door not being opened in a while. I sat down, relaxed and closed my eyes and entered an almost meditative state. It was nice.
I heard the door open, but didn't even look to see who it was. A minute or two later, you guessed it "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......" I got the hell out of there.
I will not let the moaner win!

Eviction Hijinks
Greetings.
What a day. I just left the courthouse after dealing with 3 eviction cases. It was time to clean house and it wasn’t pretty. If you are not familiar, and I truly hope you are not, this is downtown in the courthouse in the small claims room. Here I sat with Steve, a guy who helps me out with some of the property management, just a few feet away from all 3 soon-to-be-evicted tenants.
EVICTION #1 – Mary.
Mary refused to pay any rent until her floor was fixed. It was in perfect shape in August when she moved in, but now she wasn’t paying. We go over to fix it and she won’t let us in. We go to fix the window that SOMEBODY FUCKING SHOT OUT WITH A GUN WHILE TRYING TO KILL HER SON and she won’t let us in. Fast forward to today sitting in front of the court commissioner where she doesn’t answer the questions asked, pertaining to the non-payment of rent, and instead starts fake crying and talking angrily. Among other ridiculous lies, she told the guy that she took her son to the hospital 2 weeks ago because he had lead poisoning. Hmmmm….2 weeks ago when you got an eviction notice? Sounds convenient. Then she spouted off something about how “they be drinkin nasty water all the time out the faucet.” Amazingly the court commissioner agreed with me that this was all irrelevant and asked her “if the house is so bad why do you want to stay there? Why don’t you just move out?”
As we walked out she was fuming mad for some reason, even though I agreed that if she was out in two weeks I won’t process the eviction and put it on her record.
EVICTION #2 – Latoya and Mark
This time we got called in front of the other commissioner. This guy was no-nonsense. We sat down at the table across from them and Mark gave me an evil glare. I just shrugged, not knowing what to do. To this he called me a “square.” Then the commiss yelled at him to stop that. What a great start. Just to begin the proceeding he simply asked Latoya “Is it true that you received a 5 day eviction notice and that you have not paid any of your backrent?” She started popping off something about how messy the place was and was interrupted by the guy again asking the first sentence. She would not answer it so now I have to go back tomorrow in front of a judge. I’ve never EVER had this happen. The commiss was so frustrated and rolling his eyes that he threw his hands in the air. Not surprising coming from Latoya who can’t read and weighs over 400. Her toilet is broken because she sat on it. It is the 3rd toilet I’ve put on.
EVICTION #3 – Janelle
Janelle was pretty civil. We worked out a plan and if she doesn’t pay the backrent by a certain day she’s gone. So the three of us had to walk out together, and then enjoyed an uncomfortable elevator ride together. To break the awkward silence, Janelle asked what time it was. “3:23” I said. “Oh man, I hope I didn’t get a ticket, my meter ran out at 2:50.” Not ten seconds later we walk out the front doors of the courthouse and she screams “Oh no! That’s MY car they towin!” We got out just in time to watch the tow truck drive off, with her car.
So I drove her to her mom’s house.
What a day. I can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow.

Class Reunion 2009
Greetings.
I realize I might send out a few negative emails from time to time. Today is different. Today I just wanted to send something out to brighten your day. Today I wanted to make you feel REEEEEELY good about yourself. I think it will work….
So I was working on Thursday, doing a little bit of oventending at my pizza place. It was mid afternoon, our slowest time, and a customer walked in. He stood about 6ft 2 or so and looked like a total mess, like many of my customers. One of my employees took care of him, or so I thought. They called me over, which they usually do when they aren’t sure what to do. So I walk over and find out this mess of a human being is trying to get change for a 100 dollar bill. The guy looked old and ragged, shaky and clearly strung out on something that I couldn’t quite identify. He asked me if I had change for a hundred, and I asked “are you buying something?” He said ‘No, I just need two tens.” Then I looked at him closer and realized I went to high school with him. I then smiled and said “What’s up Smith!?! (not his real name but no need to call him out)” He stood there silently, you could see his brain trying to figure out who the hell I was. Finally he said in a way slower cadence than a normal human “Gilewski……oh man we had some crazy times….remember that one…..time we….” The whole time he was shaky and barely functioning. He mumbled a few other things and I finally told him I didn’t have any change for him. I actually did, but I’m pretty sure the 100 dollar bill was a fake. I am no expert on drug addiction but I’ve seen Intervention enough times to suspect it.
If that wasn’t enough excitement, two days later my wife and I went grocery shopping. We parked in the Pick N Save parking lot, prepared to live up to our life, and got out of the car. Immediately we were confronted by a homeless-looking man who appeared to be in his mid-forties. He approached us and used the old “my car broke down, I called everyone I know, I just moved here from Florida……Can I borrow 12 bucks so I can fix my car?” I’m sure we’ve all heard some variation of the story a dozen times. He then pulled out his driver’s license before I could tell him no. “See, I just moved here from Florida and I have no way to fix my car.” I looked at the license which was handed to me. I read the name – John Doe (again name has been changed to protect the guilty) I went to high school with this guy and just then he realized it too. “Dude….did you go to Oak Creek High School?” he asked. “Yeah.” I replied, “but I can’t help you, I have no cash, only credit cards. We then shopped.
This guy looked bad. I swear the guy looked 45. I never really knew the guy but holy shit!
Both incidents in 4 days. I hope I get the damn swine flu to avoid my next encounter….
