This article does a good job of summing up how I got involved with Toppers. However they mis-quoted me by saying I "earned" $600,000 in 6 months, when I actually had sales of $600,000 in the first 6 months. It sure would have been nice if it were $600K earned!!!

In general I really can't stand any politics. It is completely corrupt with big business always winning. So I try not to take sides. However this video I have to agree with.

Welcome back
Greetings.
My wife and I just returned from a 15 day roadtrip in New Zealand. We got into O'Hare around midnight and ended up getting to Milwaukee around noon Tuesday. So today I was back at it and headed to work feeling quite jet lagged. I felt so out of it that I couldn't put my contacts in and felt a bit disoriented and tired. This might be because I finally got to sleep around 3am and got up at 7 but who knows...
So I get in my car, which has been dormant for over 2 weeks, and started driving to work like usual. As you probably could guess, the cars drive on the left side of the road over there, so I was pretty damn used to driving that way after doing it every day for 2 weeks. I figured all along I'd be fine when I got back to the states.
Not so. I drove down 3 different streets this morning on the left side of the road. I didn't even realize it til I was trying to turn onto a busy street. Three full city blocks - somehow i managed not to hit any traffic.
I got back on track and made it near my store, and stopped to get gas. After guessing correctly which side my gas tank was on I got out, entered my credit card, and took off the gas cap. As I reached in for the gas cap, I felt a quick stab to my hand. I walked to my seat and sat down, puzzled. It really kind of hurt. I examined my hand closer and saw a tiny cut and for the life of me could not figure out what the hell stabbed me.
I walked back out with no clue, although my jet lagged brain was working hard to figure it out. At this point my hand was swelled up. Finally I bent down to get a closer look only to find a huge hornet sitting in there! It scared me for a second and I backed off. Then I grabbed the window washer thing and attempted to get it out that way. I looked in my car for some rubbish I could use to pluck the hornet out with, and found a cardboard scrap. I bent down to get him out not only the hornet but his NEST! A fucking hornets nest above my gas cap.
At this time I re-grabbed the window washer thing and just doused the whole cavity, washing away the hornet and his nest.
Somehow everything else went smoothly for the rest of the day even considering my car was running on unleaded spiked with windshield washer fluid.
So long,

Soon I'll Be on Fries!

I was in Las Vegas a few weeks ago for the World Pizza Expo aka "good
excuse to go to vegas" expo. This town is full of celebrities as you
might expect. Many of them vacation there or perform, so I am
guessing it is not unusual to see them around.
In any case, the convention consisted of walking around the convention
center, stopping at hundreds of booths all catering to the pizza
industry. I ate so many samples I nearly made myself sick. The other
part of the actual convention is listening to speakers and attending
seminars. While my manager Bob and I waited for a particular speaker
to start, somebody walked around handing out flyers. I have attached
the flyer. It is for ELEKTRA ICE. Yes, carmen fucking elektra now
has her own energy drink! I mean, why wouldn't she have an energy
drink? She has proven her immense talent in other areas, it is just
fitting that her next project be an energy drink. I walked over to
her booth to find a huge crowd of gawkers taking pictures. She looked
like an animal in a cage at the zoo. She also was a lot smaller than
I'd imagined....
Also that week we had dinner at a middle eastern restaurant near the
UNLV campus and a good distance away from the strip. So you would
assume a good distance from the celebs. Not so.
The four of us had a great dinner with good conversation. As we were
finishing up we were distracted by a huge "screeeeeeeeeeee" noise.
The whole restaurant turned to see the commotion. At that point I
realized it was who else but Louie Anderson's fat ass shoving the
table away from him so he could stand up to leave. He moved so fast
all I saw was the gap in his teeth and his big square head hobbling
towards the door. The whole time he was ten feet from me and I didn't
even notice. Shame on me. We could have traded quotes from Coming to
America, or chatted about his time hosting Family Fued after the other
guy killed himself. Oh well.
I wondered why he would be in Vegas, and I googled it later to find
out he performs at the Excalibur hotel. I also found out he is suing
the very casino that he works at because he slipped on some chinese
food in the Excalibur food court and hurt himself. I'd pay to be a
juror for that case..
So long suckas,

Should I rent to her?
I am trying to rent out one of my properties. I put a posting on
craigslist and I've actually been flooded with responses. I got this
one the other day and found it odd. I assumed this was from a hooker
or something, but the first woman I showed it to thought otherwise;
that I was just a perv.
Here it is.....
Hello,
My name is Mary and I would be interested in viewing the
apartment you put up on craigslist at brewers hill. Please give me a
call or email me back for a good time,

I chose not to email her back for a good time.....and i changed the
number so none of you try any funny business.

Fiasco Day
Today was clearly fiasco day here in Wisconsin. My objective this morning was to swap my old mixer with my repaired mixer. I use a huge heavy commercial mixer to make my dough and sauce at my restaurant, and the one we've been using has seen better days. My back up mixer is being stored at my parents' house 5 or so miles away. Simple task--just pick up the new one and drop off the old one. Should take an hour if we dawdle.
So I go out to start up my Toppers truck (a converted 1983 postal truck turned ice cream truck turned pizza truck) around 10am, and the battery is dead. So I give it a jump but it is so dead I have to charge it for 40 minutes or so. Still not working, my dad stops over to help out. He of course gets it going. So he jumps in the back and we head over to his house to get the new mixer.
We arrive, I park the car at the top of the incline of the driveway and we get out. Just then my dad realizes he is locked out. I usually have a key for their place but I didn't have it for some reason. So we are locked out.
No problem, we'll just go to my mom's work and pick up her key. So we get in the truck only to realize that it WON'T START. I disappoint myself. I totally forgot to leave it running. So my dad gets in the driver seat and I push the truck down the driveway and down the street to see if we can throw it in drive to get it started. I ran and pushed as fast as I could and we failed. So the bright red toppers truck is stranded down the street on the side of the road.
We walked back to my dad's house and I called AAA to give me a jump. I guess I really didn't know who else to call to give me a jump start at 1130 in the morning. They arrived at 1210 to my delight because I'm not dressed properly for the cold.
The car starts up, and we head over to my mom's work and get the key. We head back, pick up the mixer, load it up and we are on our way. This time I left it running.
In order to prevent the same problem, we headed straight to the auto parts store for a fresh battery. We walk in, the worker finds us the correct battery, and as we checked out I noticed a sign saying "FREE BATTERY INSTALLATION." I said, "hey, we should have these guys put it in for us." My dad wanted no part of that and I should have listened. Finally I convinced my dad to let the guy do it.
We went back outside. They guy brings out his tool chest and starts to get to work. Immediately I realized I made the wrong decision. Apparently you don't need automotive skills to work in an automotive parts store. Anyway, he got to work, got the corroded old rusty one out and popped in the new one. As he hooked it up he noticed some sparks. They continued anytime both wires hit. He assumed I had some other power source draining the battery so he goes and gets a 20 dollar part that is essentially a switch to turn the battery on and off.
He installs this item, and when he attaches the power we see sparks then a bunch of smoke coming from the engine.
It was at this point I realized that this battery has the positive and negative switched! All this and it was the wrong battery to begin with. We are going on at least a half hour by now. We went in to exchange the battery for another. Back outside the battery doesn't fit so he says "wait just a sec, I'll get some nuts that will make it fit." To this my dad looks at me and says "this guys goin nuts."
I agreed. He returned and we finally made it work. Then I had to go in to pay for the new parts and return the 20 dollar one we didn't need. The car started and we were on our way to finally drop off the mixer. One hour I will never have back. And I was freezing.
It was almost 2pm by now. I finished half of my task in 4 hours rather than 30 minutes.
The rest of the day was cake, but when we finally hooked up the mixer.........it didn't work.
